CAREER DEVELOPMENT FOR YOUNG MOTHERS
MOM'S JOB HUNT
Support for Young Mothers Entering the Workforce

ABOUT US
Mom's Job Search is an organization dedicated to aiding young mothers on their search for entry-level career opportunities. We do this through resume writing, interview preparation, and career advising. Our services are geared primarily towards women ages 16-25. However, we will grant exceptions for women of any age seeking entry-level work.
All of our services are available at no cost to young mothers. We are currently applying for 501c3 nonprofit status.
For many, creating a career can be essential to caring for your children and yourself.
The U.S. Census Bureau reports that 41 percent of children living in single-mother families live in poverty compared to 8 percent of children who are raised with both parents.
Mothers who work outside of the home also have the opportunity to develop more social connections, self-confidence, and an identity outside of being a mother. Reports show that children who grow up with working mothers are more responsible and ready for the workforce than their peers.
Not ready to re-enter the workforce? That's okay! Check out our Work Alternative Services. During these appointments, we'll discuss how to keep your resume and skills up to date while staying at home long term. We are also able to assist with college preparation including admissions essays and financial aid applications.
